Hospice of London is a charitable organization that provides compassionate care and companionship to palliative and bereaved individuals and their families; recognizing and embracing their unique needs. From volunteer visits that provide support and companionship, to complementary therapies to enhance quality of life, all the needs of the client, family and caregiver are addressed. Our programs are available throughout London and the immediate surrounding area and are provided irrespective of age, gender, race, culture, religion or economic status. Thanks to fundraising events like the Springbank Marathon, Hospice provides all our programs at no cost to our clients.

RACE START:
Springbank Park at Stone Cottage off Commissioners Road.
Half Marathon 8:00 am 5K 8:30 am Kiddy Trot 10:30 am
COURSE:
Half Marathon - a small loop of Springbank Park followed by an out and back loop through the Thames River Path system.
5K Run & Walk - an out and back loop of Springbank Park.
Kiddy Trot - This event is about 350 meters in length on grass and is ideal for any child from 1 up to age 10. Parents are allow to run along side any registered child.

REGISTRATION AND RACE KIT PICK-UP:
Saturday, September 11th, from 11:00am to 5:00 pm at Runners’ Choice.
Sunday, September 12th (race day) at the Start/Finish area in Springbank Park, from 6:30 am to race start.
Timing Chip Pick-Up:
Timing chip pick-up will only take place on race morning from 6:30am to 8:30am at Springbank Park. Each runner must pick up their own timing chip using their race number as identification.
Now that we are using timing chips for all our events starting this year, it is important for event results and series points accuracy plus a courtesy to other competitors and event organizers that everyone pick-up their timing chip and use only the one that is assigned to them specifically. If anyone knowingly wears another competitors timing chip both runners will be disqualified from event and series awards. SEND OR DROP OFF ENTRY FORMS TO:

T-SHIRTS & MEDALS:
All Half Marathon finishers will receive a finishers medal.
Technical New Balance souvenir event shirts to the first 300 registered for the half marathon and first 100 for the 5K.
Series points - Regular series points will awarded in both the Half Marathon and the 5K

FACILITIES: Washrooms will be available in the park. NO SHOWERS will be available.

DIRECTIONS:
From the 401 take Hwy. 4 north, becomes Col. Talbot Rd., then becomes North St. and ends at Springbank Park. Turn left on Commissioners Rd. to Parking at west end of park.
